Welaba Maama Canada ~ Nankinga Shamim Mugezi

You can love someone so much...But you can never love people as much as you can miss them...... Auntie Damalie’s death is confirmation that nobody lives forever, not even our own are immortal for real nothing changes one’s life more than the death of their loved ones

Auntie Damalie was the first person among my grannies’ children to board a plane, she first went to Canada before migrating to the States.  I remember the whole family ( her siblings and us their kids) would escort her to the airport. And every time me, my siblings and cousins would see a plane passing by we would shout while waving to plane “Bye Maama Canada Bye Maama Canada” thinking she was on the plane 😊(one of our best childhood memories)

Maama Canada you have broken our hearts, not even words can express  how much i miss you, i will forever love you and cherish the memories. Thank you for the love and care, May the Good Lord forgive you all that went wrong and grant you paradise. You will forever live in my heart and i promise to always pray for you mulungi wange.

Welaba Maama Canada. Rest with the angels auntie Damalie .

Love: Nankinga Shamim Mugezi from Kampala Uganda
